The Final Algorithm
We selected an open-source computer vision model suited to our application and applied fine-tuning techniques to adapt it to real-world street vendor scenarios.

Detection
The model is capable of detecting key elements within the video feed, including garbage accumulation, oil smoke emissions, traffic obstruction caused by carts, and potential fire hazards. Beyond basic detection, the system performs higher-level analysis to evaluate whether a vendor’s activities are disrupting urban order based on predefined criteria.
